This is a great little clock radio! Attractive looking, fantastic price (on sale for $20), 18 user-preset stations (6 AM, 12 FM), big display, battery backup, alarms, backlight, even nature sounds. I just ordered a second one!

I bought this triple alarm clock and I think it is the best alarm clock I ever bought. It has every feature you can imagine, it is compact, sleek, and looks very attractive on my night table, not as large as it looks on the picture. The only one with a triple alarm that I could find. It doesn't have white noise, but it has other sounds that are really nice. The previous review I saw the customer complain about the volume on this, I think hers might be defective, because this is defenitely loud enough for me. I think this will be my next gift idea to give for anyone, Its a great item everyone would love.
T309 - The perfect Alarm Clock

I love this clock/radio. It has absolutely everything I desired in a clock/radio. First, it has 18 pre-sets for AM and FM, so I can change the station with the push of a button or buttons. Try and find an affordable clock/radio with radio pre-sets at this price point; impossible to find. It has an easy to setup alarm, with wake to buzzer, radio and wake to nature sounds. The nature sounds are a little hokey, but if you just want something playing (instead of listening to your breathing) while you fall asleep, this is workable. And, with a couple of button pushes, you can set a sleep timer to turn off the radio in 90, 60 or 30 minutes.
For this price, this is a great bargain. I travel alot and I'm actually thinking about buying one to throw in the bag. I highly recommend the T-309...I don't think you'll be disappointed! |

I bought this radio after returning a small Sony I had ordered from Amazon to replace an old bedside clock radio. The Sony's reception of the local classical and Jazz music station was full of static and drift. The Timex has none. While the settings are a little complicated, the manual is pretty clear, and within about 15 minutes I had set up my clock and presets. The dimmer control allows either a bright or dimly lit dial, something other brands apparently have trouble figuring out. I have only used the nature sounds a little, but they worked nicely and on a sleep timer were a good way to drift off and lessen the street noise of the city. I wish it had a "white noise" option too. Its vertical design leaves room on the bedside table for other things as well. A good little product for the price.

I had been looking for a clock-radio with pre-set radio stations for a long time and finally found what I wanted with this Timex; and at a price much less than a few others I found. Plus, it has many more features that will be useful -- and fun -- also. Imagine waking up to the sounds of birds chirping!! Good sound for such a small unit and leaves me a lot more room on my nightstand. A few drawbacks -- the button to turn it off is also the same button to re-set everything; easy to push it the wrong way and then you have the job of putting everything back the way it was. Also, the TINY round buttons to change radio stations are hard to push. If they had a flat top on them, it'd be much easier and less painful. Overall though, I am satisfied with my purchase. Am happy with most everything that I purchase from or through Amazon.
