I am a worker and i often put presentations on CDs. I used to write the titles of the the CDs with a sharpy. Then i bought this and it was easy to read the titles and i have never gotten confused since. Thanks Casio!

I have been using this for over a year and it has worked great! I would purchase another.
Great quick labeler but doesn't come with an AC plug

I use this all the time for quick labeling rather than sloppy sharpie markers. I have all the colored ribbons. The silver is a bit light but the best are the blue and black. The only draw back is that you need like 8 AA batteries and they die out fast. The AC plug is an additional purchase of 30 bucks.
Works fine - simple to use.

Pretty simple machine. Ribbons are pricey and don't last very long. No software for Mac. But it does it's little job quite well.
Eval of the CW-K85 and Casio

Reviewer: John W. Goodman,
Had the item for two weeks plus. Some unnecessary problems with it's installation. I use it only as stand alone now. And may trade it off.
Attempts to order ink cartridges was a web-site-nightmare. (New efforts by e-active businesses to increase security and expel non-valid persons has added requests for additional information about the card distributor. The information requested is not valid for some cards. Thus, you are suspected of being an imposter or thief.) The metriculation on the Casio site was a nightmare. Eventually, gave up and cancelled the information that had been successfully entered. Sent a note to Casio. Got an automatic answer a week later.
It will fail to label on many many different types of CD/DVD's. The advertisement does not warn of that problem. So you may have a large number of disks that can't be used with the Casio. (If you write me, I'll scan the product manual with suggestions of which types of disks don't work will.)
When all the stars in the heavens are in proper arrangement, it does a fine and relatively versatile job in black and white.
